Corryong College operates a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. Students are required to bring their own device to school each day. The school provides families with updated minimum specifications, recommended devices, and any restrictions prior to each school year.
To support learning, student devices must:
- ๐ป Be carried in a protective case
- ๐ป Meet the minimum technical requirements set by the school
Please note that the school does not provide insurance for student devices. Families are strongly encouraged to arrange their own coverage for accidental damage or theft
Students may bring a device from home, provided it meets the schoolโs requirements. If families choose to purchase alternative devices (e.g. Mac or other Windows laptops), the school will assist with software setup and Wi-Fi access only. The ICT Department cannot provide support for hardware issues, warranty claims, BitLocker recovery, or other security-related matters.
Families may choose to purchase or finance a device through the schoolโs Department of Education approved supplier,ย LWT.
Devices can be ordered via the portal:
https://corryong.orderportal.com.au/
Devices purchased through LWT are delivered to the school and prepared for student use.
Families who require financial assistance, or who would prefer their child to use a school-provided device, are encouraged to contact the school.
Students without a device should visit the ICT Office between 8:30 am and 9:00 am to borrow a loan laptop for the day.
For further information or support regarding the Student Laptop Program, please contact the Corryong College ICT Office.
